IPAQ MODEM Question

First let me say I’m not a not a network expert. I have an IPAQ 3630 and today I installed a Compactflash MODEM. My problem is that the network I’m trying to log onto will not authenticate. On my desktop (which I can use to log on) under networking properties, I had to turn off “Includes Windows logon domain” for it to work. My IPAQ does not have this option, any suggestions?:confused:

What version of PocketPC are you running, 2000 or 2002?

The login screen comes up there should be a place to put the Domain, leave it blank, that is where it determans what Domain to athenticate to. I am assuming that you have stared and compared the settings from your PC and iPAQ from your comments in your original post. Under the Connections and then the Dialing Locations tab do you have Work for the "Location" box?

That did it, I thought I had tried leaving it blank, but I probably had something else misconfigured at the time. Thanks a lot for the help.:)

Hey, no problem, at least it was a challenge. I get quite a few that are not at work.
