Palm hangs during HotSync

My Palm V hangs during the "Memo Pad" portion of HotSynching. I've synched via infrared and direct serial. Same result. I've done soft reset, warm reboot and hard reboot. Same result. It appears that all the memo info is transferred over, it just can't seem to close it up and move on.

The hang requires that I use task manager to "unhang" and terminate both the sync program and Palm Desktop.

Any thoughts?

Can you check your hotsync log and post what it says?

If you really want to fix this problem, replacing the motherboard would probably work. Check out ********hightech.com in the US.
