I was pulled over on my way to work this morning along the interstate. The officer said that he had clocked me at 81 mph in a 65 zone. I knew that I had not been going that fast so while he was back in his cruiser running my license I thought about how the Ique shows a Max speed on the trip page. I switched over and saw that it registered my max at 67.7 mph. When the officer
returned I explained to him how the Ique worked, and showed him the trip page. He stood their with a dumbfounded look on his face. After a few moments he said " well I must have made a mistake. Sorry and have a nice day. What a morning. Thank you Garmin.

If word of this gets out, they'll ban the use of iQue's in the State of Virginia...then the U.S.... THEN THE WORLD! Even James Cameron won't be able to use one! Gee, I hope James stored the waypoint over the Titantic...;)

Personally I wouldn't show the police officer the max speed my iQue has recorded....it would most likely be a lot faster than what he pulled me over for! :)
