I was the one who had to get a Delkin 128 MB SD card instead of the faulty SanDisk. It's been working fine... until now. Some corrupted file froze me up so I had to do a hard reboot, which I did with the card out. I have faithfully done a back-up on my e-310 every couple days in case of such an event. However, now I discover the "restore" program doesn't work. It claims it's restored after about 3 seconds, but it isn't of course. It just puts my owner's info in etc. No dates, files, programs that I downloaded or anything. I'm enraged! I have never had so much trouble and glitches with any PDA (always Casios) before. This one, at times the buttons don't work, so a soft reboot is needed etc. But now this! I'm fed up! Has anyone else encountered this? Is there something I can do to repair this without deleating everything and starting all over again, again, again, again. I love the size, but this Toshiba has been a real pain in the touche!

I had a similar problem and was able to fix it quite by accident. I do use a SanDisk 64mb card and it works just fine. I did not realize that it has a little slide switch on the edge that locks or unlocks the card. Perhaps your card has the same thing. Make sure it is unlocked before you try the restore.

Thanks for the advice, but it's already unlocked. I would imagine that the unlock switch is like a write protect and I'd be able to read (or restore) from it, but not write to it. I had the opposite problem...

I'm getting frustrated with the system. This e-310 has crashed dozens of times, but my Casio almost never did... Something is buggy in the engineering.
