Password problem

The screen on my Psion 5 has died, so I've accessed most of the data within the Psion using my PC and PsiWin. Unfortunately I have a flash disk containing important info in a password protected word file. I know the password, but there seems to be no way to input it from my PC so I cannot open the file. Any suggestions?

Two options:

1. Send the file to someone you can trust with a compatible Psion, together with the password, so the protection can be removed.

2. Try to get hold of a copy of the emulator so you can open the file in the PC.

The emulator is part of the SDKs (Software Development Kits) in the Developers' section of the "netPad" area (not netBook) of the Psion Teklogix site. Sorry I cannot be more specific than that but someone may have the actual URL. You have to register, which is free, before downloading an SDK.
