or is it the whole thing. i haven't had a chance to mess with it to much, but it hasn't asked me to register yet. anyone know? i'd really like to start using it for work. it is so much easier to work with the palm than the boat anchor of a laptop that work gives me.

that answered my question. this sucks that everything on here is a trial version. you'd think they would throw something in.

We have to remember that Garmin did throw something in, all that GPS software that came with the unit. I suppose it depends on whether or not you had a PDA already or were coming from the GPS world. I had all the software I wanted/needed, so I didn't need more 'stuff', and am very happy with the GPS capabilities and having to learn a new technology. If you were used to GPS but had never had a PDA, I can see why you might be let down with the other software that came with the unit. As someone says on another list I participate in, just my 2¢ worth, take what you need and leave the rest .:)
