Can someone please write a simple app?

Can someone please write a little program that calculates the number of graffiti keystrokes it would take to produce a given text, comparing Graffiti 1 to Graffiti 2? Since each character would have a certain number of strokes associated with it in order to generate that character, and depending upon whether it is G1 or G2 and whether the character appears at the beginning of a sentence, add a stroke for a capital letter in the middle of a sentence with no period before it. Sounds simple enough, right?

You can just do it manually by comparing the graffiti 1 and 2 guides. If that sounds tedious, you compare selected letters and characters under both systems.
