MS read problems

my memory stick cannot be read ALOT by my NR70...usually, the problem is resolved by resetting my palm...should I take it back to best buy and have them exchange it for a new one? it's a ridiculous hassle to have to reset the palm every time I want to read the memory stick...
also, the palm seems to freeze alot also...it's been doing this on and off for a month now, but with the memory stick problem, it's becoming unbearable dealing with this palm

Definately take it back. The NR is famous for its MS problems. So much so Sony has actually acknowledged the problem and has a cure for it. If your with Best Buy I would take it back. I'm sure they have had a few returned with the same problem.

well, i took it back...the new one works fine...
what's sony's solution?

From what I have read the first fix was a shim that re-aligned the internal mechanism. From what I have read lately they actually replace the entire internal piece.
