Ok guys and gals, who has found the best deal on a SD card? I found a SanDisk 128MB at Best Buy for $40 after rebate. I see that you can buy 256MB Compact Flash cards for about $40. Why are the SD's more expensive?

That was the best deal I've seen so far. rkmx5 08-30-2003, 12:36 AM Costco stores have Sandisk 256Mb for $50 after rebate through 31 August. Yurs_Truly 08-30-2003, 04:49 AM ecost.com have a 512mb Sandisk for $165.49 free shipping but $5 handling fee... btw, I went to my local Sears store, planning to return a Sandisk 256mb but mentioned the Costco's price.. Sears able to meet n beat the $50 Sandisk 256SD at Costco and I kept the sd from them.. I was surprise though since most retailers like Bestbuy and others do not matches prices on "wholesale" stores. rluxemburg 08-30-2003, 12:40 PM Word of mouth I've heard on SanDisk isn't the best. Panasonic or PNY would be my chocie. YMMV though.
