Currently i have 2 NICs in my desktop computer. On goes to my cable modem, the other to my laptop via a crossover cable. I am going to add a bluetooth adapter to my desktop and connect my ipaq to it. I have read some guides but none cover my exacet set up. What i want to do is be able to access my lan(just my laptop and desktop) and the internet. From what i have read that means I should bridge the bluetooth connection to the lan connection. Is that right? I have a semi-complicated setup which is different from most lans. If some one could help me please post here with you e-mail so i can contact you. Thanks

I'm not sure if you see this guide, there's a section on bridging and ics.

If that's not working, you can uncomplicate your network by get an inexpensive switch and plug your internal desktop nic and your laptop into it or you can also get bluetooth adapter for your laptop(now your laptop can be wireless as well). In either of these cases you just acticate ICS on the desktop normally, and regular steps to get ipaq to access internet and internal network should apply.
