With my Casio E-125, I cannot get attachments to download when receiving mail using a wireless connection; not even for JPEG files. I have configured everything using "Mail Setup Tool", and am using the provided "Inbox" to manage the email.
Has anyone solved this problem?

What can & cannot be downloaded will be determined by your setup in ActiveSynch on the desktop.
When connected right click on the Inbox on ActiveSynch main screen & select settings. Check mark the "Include File Attachments".
If you are downloading the jpg files uncheck the "Limit Attachment size to" so complete attachments will be downloaded.
On the PDA start the inbox, tap on Tools - Options - Storage. You should get the option of saving the attachments on storage card if one is available to save on main memory usage.
But this might not be an option if you use a CF wireless ethernet card for connecting & Synching. If it does show up you will have to uncheck this option to save the attachments in main memory.
Hope this helps.
This may not be the situation, but I noticed after syncing up to my PC, that attachements were noted, but not there. On the Edit tab at the bottom when reading that particular email message, there is an option that says, Get Full Copy. When I click that, it brings it to the Pocket PC the next time I sync.

That is exactly the situation.
By default Active Synch limits the mail to 100 lines & leaves the attachements out. If you opt to download the attachments the default limit is 100 K.
You have to change both these option through Inbox settings.
I have been using this system for over 6 months now. Only thing is if the CF card in not inserted Inbox will complain that attachment folder not found.

Thanks much for the ideas, but I can't even sync email at all with my work PC (where I need am working on this problem, and where I need to sync email); I get an error message that I cannot have a partner with 2 PC's. It goes on to say to delete one partnership, and use the wizard to establish a new partnership, selecting a 2 PC partnership. I did it twice, still get the error.
However, the HELP in Active Sync 3.5 says that I CAN have 2 parnerships, just can't sync E-mail with more than 1 PC. It continues to say that in order to partner with 2 PCs, all the settings must be the same. I assume that to mean what I am syncing and how I am syncing it. Well, that is a problem too, because sometimes I update all the files, and sometimes only the contacts, using the options menu, right before the sync.
How can I partner with 2 PCs and sync mail with only one (my work PC, and no longer with my home PC)?
Thanks so much for any ideas...

First BACKUP your Outlook folder.
Next go to the Desktop PC with which you want to synch your mail. Delete all partnerships on the PC ( device not connected ) WITHOUT deleting the files/folders.
Next connect the PDA. ActiveSynch will detect the device & offer to create parytnership. Select the option of "Single PC only."
Activesynch will establish the partnership, check the device & do the necessary synching of all the options. I always set for manual synching & never of "on connect" or "continuous". Right click the Inbox selection & check the option of attachments, uncheck the option of 100k size limit for the attachments.
Now go to the PDA. Open the Inbox - Tools - Options - Storage. If you have a Cf card installed it will offer to store attachments on the CF card. This specific card must be present at all times when you synch mail or access the Inbox on the device.
Before you connect your device to the second PC delete all partnerships. Connect device. Select the option of more than 1 PC. You will now be allowed to synch everything other than the Inbox.
Hope this helps.

Thanks so much, Pmshah,
Sorry so late with an update, have been dabling with Palm devices, because this PPC is not up to the task of wireless email!
Anyway, I am at least trying to use my E-125 for ActiveSync with my Outlook messages, with attachments. The E-125 is running Windows CE 3.0.9348 (build 9351) (and I understand it cannot be upgraded) The current problems are:
+ AS had 45 unresolved message problems, and when I click to resolve them, I get 2 types of errors: 1. "the process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process". To this I say "weird", because my system tray show nothing running that would conflict (such as a file attachment Acrobat reader, etc)
2. "Cannot convert attachment", to which I say "no problem, I will use the options to define how I want, say, Acrobats converted, say to word or txt, whatever"...which brings me to the next problem...
+ AS 3.5 doesn't let me convert anything but the most basic types of files, not including even Acrobat reader, and the options doesn't let me choose (rules/conversion settings/desktop to device/edit...). So, is that it? Can't do it?
+ On the E-125, in the inbox, there is no way for me to toggle between the wireless accounts I had previously created and the Active sync messages (I assume that there is no way to merge those 2 kinds of messages). My previous work around was to use the find function to search the PPC for a known email subject, and when I tapped that found object (a message) in the found window, then I would go to inbox "account" with the Active Sync messages. Now that's hosed. Doesn't work anymore. Doesn't find the object I'm looking for.
So now I can't even use this thing for AS email processing, and I'm thinking "if I could only get Palm OS to run on this nice machine..."
But seriously, any ideas from our guru(s)??

I personally have never been comfortable with AS 3.5. I have successfully used AS 3.1 with entire range of E-xxx starting from E10 to E-200 including EM-500.
I suggest you revert back to 3.1
First thing to do is to set up th AS to manual synchronising in stead of "on connect" or "continuously" in which case you are bound to get errors trying to resolve the conflict.
Next thing to do is to turn off all file format conversions. Now the conflict arises from a situation where you have synchronised a file say with the converion on & after some changes to the files with conversion off.It could also be in reverse order. You have 2 different files which will conflict when they are being converted & the file extension is being changed.
Your best bet is to delete some of the PDA versions of the files from the PDA itself. These will have identically named files but with a different extension & different content. This may be a time consuming affair but it is needed.
Your other alternative is to hard reset the device, revert to AS 3.1, turn off all conversions & set the synching to "manual". You will also get the option of including the attachments with the mail. You will also get the option of saving the attachments on a CF card ( this option would be available on the PDA ) if one is plugged in.
Hope this helps.
