Does anyone know if you can buy a device which would supply power to an iPAQ 3800 using a disposable battery, such as a 9 volt type? This would really come in handy when you are traveling and do not have access to an AC outlet or USB port!

Greetings;

Here is a link that shows how to build one, Good luck. I have purchased a Belkin car charger for the iPAQ and it works good for me, I listen to Media player on my tapedeck in my car.

Thanks for the info., but I do not think that I am up for trying to build one myself, too "Popular Science"! I thought that I once saw a commercial product but perhaps I am mistaken.

They have one or more battery powered chargers for IPAQs. I got an older version of theirs, works like a charm on those JFK-NRT flights.
