Voice directions stop?

Waiting for the Auto Nav kit to arrive and using IQue around town. I can be driving getting voice directions then nothing. What scares me is as I am driving in far away places the voice stops and I drive past the turn. Anybody else experience this?

Also I have driven past the correct turn on purpose to see if it would let me know and nothing. Is the unit suppose to let you know you are going the wrong way?

I have lost the voice only after doing something else not just navigating around and loose the voice. I do a soft reset and it comes back. I haven't lost it yet when not doing anything else.
