Love my IQUE. However I tried to load Bluechart V5 but it would not acknowledge USB. Any thoughts?

I had no problem uploading the BlueChart from CDROM. Elaborate on the process you are using. Look On my home page for an example chart.

Thank you for your interest. I loaded the cd from bluechart on my laptop. I can see the chart on my laptop but when I try to send it to my ique it states that no usb devices exist. It is as though I am missing a driver. Interestingly the mapsource cd that came with the unit did place the city map on the ique and I can send and sync other things to the ique. Garmin emailed me back and wants me to call in. I am not home during the day so this will be tough.

I had the same problem until I updated Map Source to version 5. Version 4 came with the city select CD and would not move BlueCharts to the iQue. Version 5 worked. I now have both the BlueCharts and the City Select maps on my iQue. The download is here (http://www.garmin.com/support/download.jsp)

Scroll down to Map Select version 5. However, to see the BlueCharts you have to turn off the city select maps (or vice versa). With a map displayed on the iQue, go to "Menu -> Options -> Preferences -> General -> Detailed Maps -> tap the menu icon at the bottom to bring up the options to switch between the map databases. You can also individually turn maps on and off if you want.

I have downloaded v5. It still does not acknowledge a usb device. Suggestions?

After forming the map file in MapSource V5, go to "File -> Save To -> iQue", That formats the maps for the iQue and readies them for sync. The next step is to sync, which will take several minutes.

I assume you got your unique unlock code for the iQue off the Garmin site. I had to get a second one since I used the first on my GPSMap76.
