I am a user of multi-sheet workbooks in excel and recently found a pretty good solution for my Netbook. I now use Mobipocket Office Companion to convert the files. I can read these files on my Netbook with Mobireader. Of course, the files are read only. This is fine for me because I don't create complex spreadsheets on my Netbook but like to refer to certain spreadsheets while I am away from my office.

The of discovery I made is that the D-Link WiFi card works with the Netbook. The big advantage of it is that the antenna is flat. Therefore, I can remove and replace the stylus without removing the card.

I hope this helps.

Best,

Burk

A good hint, it's useful to have alternative ways of viewing files.
nConvert works with older file versions in excel, and some newer ones, although I have found that it is more consistent when I File-SaveAs on the desktop machine Excel and pick a pre-95 version of Excel.
In the past I have used the ability of some Desktop programs to output as HMTL (web pages). For me, this has worked fairly well, although sometimes the size of file output is dreadful!
I have also occasionally performed screen/window grabs from certain progs and viewed them on the Psion with MBMView.
My iMac can output PDF files through its Print Preview dialogue, but I have had mixed results when trying to view the output files with PDF (I think it's a Mac-end problem though). In Windows, I have found a free program called Gymnast which outputs basic PDF files.
I have used copy & paste successfully between Psion WORD and SHEET - and also have used TXT files as a shared medium between the 2 with raw data. It's amazing how often there is a way round a compatability issue.
