I have a iPAQ 1940 and would like to be able to place shortcuts for files and programs on the startup screen (Today screen). Although its not really that difficult to navigate a few menus to get to the regulat shortcut I would really like to have a 98SE or XP desktop style startup screen. If there is such a program is it compatible with WM2003? Does it suck up a lot of resources and slow down the device?

Thanks

mpholic,

Hi there.

One apps you could have a look at is a small program called Sidex by Mtux.

This has a small Icon on the left or right side of the screen that you click on and it expands out and you can have several things displayed. Calendar....Calculator....Programs...and then there are quite a few other addons that you can also purchase.

It is a small program been really cool because it doesn't clutter up your today screen.

Associated with this and made by the same programmer is another small program called Todayx. This allows you to have 4 Today screens so that you can put various things on the different screens and then just change between them.

Here is the url to look at Mtux products.

I have nothing to do with Mtux other than I use their products....
