I use both a Dell PPC and a Clio HPC(larger screen easier for taking notes). When I take handwritten notes(e-ink) on my PPC and then copy to my HPC(by ActiveSync'ing with each, no file conversion used), parts of the note are destroyed(on the HPC). By this I mean many of the words have their first letter converted to text and the rest of the word is gone. It seems like there may be an incompatibility between the two Notes applications.
I'd really appreciate any help as I like to use both devices interchangably(I sync both to the same PC folder). If there's no solution, is there another notetaking package that can mix text, handwriting, and drawings and runs on both the new PPC's and an HPC running CE 3.01?

You might try saving in ascii .txt and see if it helps.

Why not save them as work doc or covert them at the sync?

The reason I don't convert to Word Documents and then sync is that my true Word documents would also be converted to Inkwriter/NoteTaker documents and thus lose some formatting. Also, Inkwriter documents which contain drawings and handwriting don't convert exactly right to Word.

Why not use just word?

Because you can't enter handwriting(e-ink) into Pocket-Word.
