I have run into the same problem as many. I am getting the "critical communications services have failed to start" error when attempting to sync. I uninstalled then reinstalled from 3.5 ...still the same issue until I removed the password from my iPAQ. Now I am getting the following error when trying to upgrade to 3.7 from 3.5:
FILE COPY ERROR
"Setup could not copy the file 'C:\documents and settings\xoxo\local settings\Temp\IXP000.tmp\core\inf\wceusb.inf' (copy error -1). Restart your desktop computer and run setup again."
If I reboot...I get the same error...I looked in the above mentioned path and the file was there! I am administrator to my Windows 2000 workstation sp3. I have recently installed the blaster fix. Any help?
