Why spend all the dough on iPAQ's? I know they're great but Toshiba and new ViewSonic are offering options. The ViewSonic is sub $300 for crying out loud!

The 4.9-ounce device will come with a 300MHz Intel XScale PXA250 processor, 32MB of memory, a 3.5-inch transflective color screen and a Secure Digital expansion slot. The V35 will also come with Microsoft PowerPoint file viewer and digital imager viewer applications.

This link has the full story and an insider PDF about the unit.

"Will come"

Most consumers now days are extremely impatient people.

Also I like the expandibility option for the iPaq, using a Dual PCMCIA expansion sleeve, sure its big, but expandibility is virtually unlimited now, and to carry it you can just buy a 4$ camera carrying case that goes on your belt.

Last I checked Toshiba had poor tech support ( I dont have any personal experience with them, just what I heard ) , they are however nice with offering both CF and SD slot. Also they have a VGA adapter that snaps onto the bottom, very small compared to that FlyJacket a third party company has made for the iPaq.
