Hi,
could you please guide me about "development kit"? Is MobileVB a "development kit"? Is "development kit" a device for uploading some files to PDA, or a software for programming prc files?
thanks in advance

Hi
A development kit is a suite of programs to write and compile programs.
MobileVB is a development kit for PalmOS & PocketPC. It's an add-on to Microsoft VB 6.0 and allows you to compile regular VB programs for both PalmOS and PocketPC.
HB++ & NSBasic are other development kits for PalmOS. They are both VB-like but do not integrate with Microsoft VB 6.0.
I use the SuperWaba SDK ( http://www.superwaba.com.br/ ) and the MobileCreator IDE ( http://www.tauschke.com/products/tauschkemobilecreator/index.html ) to write programs in Java. Both of these have the advantage of being free.

Hi,Patrick
thanks very much for your reply.
I would like to open my palm os database (PDB) files in Access. How can I do? Is there any auxiliary software to convert PDB files to MDB (microsoft database)?
Best Regards

Hi Patrick,
Just wondering how you are getting on with SuperWaba SDK and the MobileCreator IDE, I am currently learning Java and would certainly like to develop some reasonably serious apps for Windows Mobile 2003 and Palm. Any advice or tips would be great. How good were the priced docs for getting up and started using SuperWaba SDK on their site, did you need to use them?
Thanks
Fergus
