Hello.
Does anyone know where I can get a netBook personality module? Expansys would been rather pricey at £120 if they actually had any left.
Regards,
Brian.

Brian, you'll find a number of references to this topic if you do a search on this forum. Best source of nB personality modules seems to be www.sitashop.com for both price & availability. Otherwise, maybe SRS in Germany (www.srsgmbh.de).
They're currently advertising the personality modules at $220 outright or $115 exchange (for Series7 or MalayBook modules). They also have the 32Mb DIMM upgrades on offer at $127 - cheap! All these prices include delivery.

Hi - ia hve found a cheaper source for the 32mb RAm modules - a guy called david lowe (david.lowe@orange.net) is selling 32mb DIMMs for only £70 - contact him if you need one.

Well that's just extra memory.
As for the pesonality modules, I'm going to have to wait until I've got a bit more free cash knocking around.

I'm looking to buy the personality module to convert my s7 to a 7book from Sitashop. Does anyone know if this is definitely a netbook personality module not an mbook one. The ordering area says that part of the cost will be refunded if the mbook module is returned, which leads me to believe that what they are selling is actually the netbook module. Has anyone done this? Thanks.

I bought one about a month ago. Mine was a proper Netbook module.

Thanks for letting me know. I've tried emailing them but haven't received a reply. Were you happy with the service? Did you have the option of sending back your series 7 module for part of the price back?

The were alright. They did not have any in stock, which they let me know straight away. But they sent it within a week. There was no option, or I was not asked to send back the 7 module. The way I understand it is that they will only accept mBook modules back anyway, so I did not ask (mine is a 7 Book module.
The only bugbear which had nothing to do with Sita was I got charged customs duty and VAT and a carrier handling charge in UK which nearly doubled the cost.
