Hi,

I have a iPAQ 1940 and I was thinking of getting an SD card. Someone told me that if I get one, then I would need a card reader. He said because Activesync will only read the first 16 megabytes since there is a flaw in Activesync.

Is this true? If so, where can I get a card reader? Also, how would I install a program to the card?

Thanks.

Sincerely,
Nikhil Kulkarni

Not true. My iPAQ h1945 can see my 128mb card just fine as well as active sync sees it fine. The other common misconception is that the active sync file transfer is to slow to be useful. With the old iPAQ and old active sync, file transfer speeds were much slower than a card reader. So people would put files onto the card with a USB card reader and then put the card into the iPAQ. Now the speed of transfer is ALOT faster. And is almost a fast a physically possible.
