Problems with the connection between PSION 3a and my PC

Hi, Psion-fans,

good-day from Germany first! Well, since about 10 years I have a 3a and I am happy to have it.
Since about two years I have a PC with Win 98 SE , too.
Now I try to connect these two different computers and there is a connection between them , but there is no chance to open a file of the Psion on the PC . The answer of the system is --- there is no correct way found --- or something like this.

I am far away to be a specialist for electronic problems, and so I am looking since some weeks to make my problem clear, without any success.
Who can help me ? Please, write in a simple english way; this language I learnt in school about fifty yers ago. Hope, I have not made too much mistakes in this notice and you can understand my problem.

As you have had your 3a for about 10 years, you may still be using PsiWin 1.0 or 1.1 which doesn't have converters for current PC applications.

If this is correct, I would suggest you download and install the latest version of PsiWin, which is 2.3.3, from:

PsiWin 2.3.3 - English (http://www.psion.com/downloads/pc/psiwin2/233/english.exe)

PsiWin 2.3.3 - German (http://www.psion.com/downloads/pc/psiwin2/233/deutsch.exe)
