Whenever I'm online, if I type an address in the address bar I can access the page, but, most of the time, when I tap a link on that page I get a message that "the page you are looking for cannot be found". What am I doing wrong?

Hmm. Is it possible that when you are typing the addresses inthe address bar that you are accessing stored pages in cache on the Axim, as opposed to getting the pages on the internet? Does this happen all of the time? If you try it with a site that you've never visited before, does it download the pages?
It almost sounds like you are not actually connected to the internet and are accessing the pages via mobile favorites or something.
How is it that you connect to the net? Via ActiveSync, WiFi/Bluetooth, or via modem?

I thought maybe I was accessing pages in my cache too so even before I posted I typed in new pages in the address bar and they come up every time. They are only the links inside of pages that tell me "the page you are looking for cannot be found". I am connected by ActiveSync and occasionally these pages will load but not often enough to be useful.

Yes I am having the same problem With a Axim5 windows Ver. 2003 using a Ambicom CF56k modem. This problem with the Web link happens only some time but is very frustrating.
Does anyone have an idea why this is going on ?

I too have experienced this problem. I`m using a True mobile 1180 Wlan CF card and have problems when the power management of the card is automaticly turned on. Then I can`t get online. Once I turn it off the connection works perfectly.
I also turned off my wep- encryption.
It is most irritating that I have to manually turn off the power management all the time. I cant`t find out how to turn it off permanently.
I`m not comfortable whit turning off the wep- encryption either.
