Just bought a Kyocera 7135 SmartPhone, which I sync with my PC that runs Lotus Notes R5 (Release 5.0.7). I use IBM's EasySync Pro software (Version 4.21), which works ALMOST perfectly.
The exception is the mapping of "Cell Phone" field in Notes with the "Mobile" field in the SmartPhone (Palm OS). While the mapping shows one "Mobile = Cell Phone" formula, I get the following:
"Other: Mobile: (XXX) XXX-XXXX"
I know that each of the contact field labels in the Palm OS have a drop-down menu, in which you can choose the field name in the Palm OS (i.e., "Other" to "Mobile"), but that does not seem to help.
Has anyone experienced this Sync bug, and what can be done to resolve it?
