Having moved onto a netbook, lost a Mako, and just purchased a 5mx on eBay, my series 5 was doing primary duty as an excellent alarm clock. Unfortunately, its backlight has died. It's stylus compartment no longer works either.
It is excellent for keyboard entry, and the screen works fine. Anyone wishing to purchase it for parts or to use as the greatest alarm clock ever can name their price.
