Hello,

I'm using Tomtom Navigator 2 for land navigation. It ss wonderful.

Is there a equivalent software designed for aerial navigation ?
(by plane in VFR conditions)

I have bought Teletype GPS but I'm not happy with it.

Thanks Mario

I use anywhere map-but also oziexplorerce for scanned vfr/ifr maps.
Suggest you look at those two products-they are both great!

Geofa,

I wonder if you spend a bit of time and tell me how you set up AnywhereMap. I'm a total newbie to this, but have a PPL and an IPAQ 2215! Does Anywheremap work with any GPS software. How do you load this stuff up Compact Flash or SD or some sort of sleeve?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Probably best would be to go to their site:
www.controlvision.com

You can run it on your main unit-but an add in like pocket plates (approach plates for the whole us) you will need a storage card. The awm software works great, and they have lots of options for a gps. Personally,l use a blue tooth gps-that way there are no wires and the unit can be moved easily from plane to plane.

They have a support board at their site-take a look at that-most questions can be answered there.
