Brando sells the bluetooth MS add-on, which I have. Pricey, but works well. of course, you need a bluetooth phone like the Sony Ericsson T39 or T68. jimcuz 08-25-2002, 08:39 PM I miss the wireless nature of my old Vx setup using the omnisky modem so I'm interested in taking my T615 wireless. The prices I've seen on the Brando chip makes it less expensive than the Omnisky was so it's of interest to me. Did the MS come with software that includes a browser for the Clie? Email client? How does it set up? Is it capable of running off of a regular dial up or is a "clipped" network necessary? <assuming there IS such a thing for these devices> cuz swinter 08-27-2002, 02:38 AM the sony cd that came with it was entirely in japanese, but the only files of any interest were the drivers. someone did a good post about this on the old pda buzz site: basically, as I recall it the solution was to identify the *.prc files, copy them (in DOS) to your hard drive and then install them on the clie. worked without a hitch, as I recall. for browser I use Xiino, which is the successor to Palmscape. in my experience, it works better and and faster than Blazer. it's fastest with palm sites, but is html capable. it far surpasses Blazer in that it handles ssl (secure) sites, which means among other things that you can access hotmail (though not perfectly -- no jpg attachments, for example, come through). they were supposed to release their own "cruiser" service for downloading webpages during hot sync, but I haven't seen it yet. (haven't checked for a while though) basically, you can surf directly fairly well. (sites with frames are a little weird, as it just presents all the frames in one very long scrolling page.) for email I recommend the Aileron service. it's$30/year, but it's very fast, reliable, handles multiple pop accounts, and enables you to receive attachments. jimcuz 08-27-2002, 10:17 PM Gotta persue that some more with ya. Thanks for the prompt reply. cuzzer swinter 08-29-2002, 01:19 AM PrintBoy (from Bachmann) now has a version that enables you to print via bluetooth. PDA Street
