Wireless Connection

Hi Guys

I own a Zire 71 and I would like to connect it wirelessly to the internet via a mobile phone. At the moment, I own a Nokia 7110 but I am thinking of upgrading to a Bluetooth phone

Wireless connection to my Nokia 7110 works well but is a little akward as both devices communicate over IR and they have to be held in line-of-sight so I am looking for a better solution.

Please let me know what you think is best in terms of mobile phone make/type, connection method and software.

...that they hadn't yet developed BT drivers for the Zire71 and the BT SD card?

If they haven't yet, I'd have to suffer with the IR connection. Unless you feel like upgrading both the PDA and phone.

Then you have to consider whether you want a convergence device (I think that Samsung SmartPhone is kinda hot. I saw one at the SF PUG last month.) or if you want the 2 device solution.

I have the T|T and SonyEricsson t616 with AT&T GPRS service. I like the combo., but am finding current GPRS prices out-of-touch with what I'd use it for. Right now it's just for emergency browsing.

Somethings to think about.
