Looking for some help.
I use a palm 515 and I am looking into a file manager or launcher to better organize my data on the sd card.
Is there a difference between the file manager and launcher.
I currently have Mega Launcher installed and have been very pleased.
I installed the demo of Atvantage to move my Avantgo files to my sd card - so far so good.
I was looking at My Workbench as well. What atvantage will My Workbench give me that I do not already have?
Thanks for the help.

myWorkBench is a good tool for moving files to and from the card. As you have deduced the Launcher (MegaLauncher) is not a file manager. It would be nice if we never needed a file manager but we do. myWB is really strong at helping you to find bits and pieces of files that may have been left when you removed an app.
A simpler file manager is McFile or Filez. Check them out to see which one fits your needs.

Dr. Mud,
Thanks for the input.
I often wondered just how many "left over" files linger on the memory after you add/delete software.
If I use myWorkbench for no other reason than cleaning out those files it will be well worth the money.
Thanks again,

I agree that it is a very useful tool. I had a lot of unrelated or Orphaned, DBs on my Palm due to years of trying apps and then deleting using the built in Delete. It does require care to go through the list of orphans. Some files in RAM will be shown as orphaned when in fact the app is simply located on a memory card.

Yes,
I have found that out the hard way!
I downloaded myWorkbench and began playing with it. Bought it an hour later.
Going through the orphaned file section will be a learning process. I have already had to reinstall a few applications after deleting necessary files/folders.
Thanks so much for the help.
