Now that my Mako is confirmed DEAD, it is time to try to retreive the Contact and other data from the not so recent synchronized files on my PC.

Well - I need some help: Where are these files and how could I migrate them to MS Word or MS- Excell ???

Where are these files and how could I migrate them to MS Word or MS- Excell ???If you know the file name, just use the PC's "Search" to find it. PsiWin's "Convert Files" utility should convert Word, Sheet and Data files to MS Office equivalents. Contacts is not so easy as there is no converter and the file is in proprietary format - best option is possibly to get someone with a working Psion to "Print to File" your Contacts.cdb file so you have a copy in plain text. If you want me to do this for you, go to my website, click the button to email me and attach your Contacts.cdb file. I've done this several times already for users with faulty machines.

The path for my Revo backup (which is probably very similar for a Mako and EPOC Connect) is:

C:\Psion\(machine name)\Backup\Internal\

I seem to remember that there is a free Contacts to CSV utility called C2F, but I have not used it.
