Hello, anyone can tell me why, when I try sending an SMS via my mx, I get the following "Error sending SMS - Could not send any SMS message, General (unspecified) error"?

Do you have the SMS Centre number entered in the Email application's SMS settings? This is normally read directly from the phone but it must be in the correct format, which is full international [Country][Area][Number] format but without the leading + sign. Some phones don't have the number stored this way so it must be edited to the correct format in the Psion.

Hi Mick, thanx for answering so quick. I entered the SMS Centre number in the Email application's SMS settings but may be the correct format ... there is no area code here in Norway (country code:47). so lets say the SMS center number is 12345678, then is the right format just 4712345678? I can't type brackets or kommas in the service centre addres field.

NetCom Norway 4792001000
NetCom Norway 479208977
TeleNor Norway 4790002100
TeleNor Norway 4790007777although they may have changed since I got the list :)

the numbers are right, but entered a wrong one in the service center number. thanks for your help. bye
