I am having a problem with my new Ipaq 5555. When I install Active Sync 3.7 the 5555 will sync fine for a few days and then when I try to sync using the orginal setup the ipaq does nothing and Active sync on the 5555 has an error stating the I need to setup a modem or network which I am not using. To fix this problem I have had to hard reset the device and reload all software. I am not using Bluetooth or WLAN at this time. I am using the cradle and USB to sync. Can anyone help because hard resetting is getting out.

Have you tried to soft reset the ipaq and/or restart your desktop to fix the problems before you hard reset the unit?

Yes I have. I have soft reset and rebooted my windows XP and I still can not sync the 5555 without doing a hard reset. I even have tried to sync via IR with the same results.
