I have been using my PDA since January 2003. I synch only the calendar, Notes and Contacts folders from my desktop (Outlook XP). Recently, I have been getting low memory errors on my MobilePro. A new PDA has the same problem, so not the PDA. I have isolated the problem to the Pocket Outlook calendar: If I do a hard reset and do not synch any calendar items, the PDA has no problems. But, as soon as I synch the calendar, memory problems cause the PDA to lock up and only clearing the calendar, via hard reset, works to stop the memory errors. I have synced using a friend's desktop and his calendar does not crash my PDA. So, there must be a corrupt appointment in mine. How can I find the offending entry?

Thanks,
mrpb

After nearly a month of wrestling with this problem, I got the answer from the Microsoft Community Newsgroups Office Outlook Calendaring forum http://support.microsoft.com/newsgroups/default.aspx?NewsGroup=microsoft.public.outlook.ca lendaring&SLCID=US&ICP=GSS3&sd=GN&id=fh;en-us;newsgroups

There are tools to scan the pst file and repair them. Look at this directory and see if you got scanpst.exe application.

C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\MSMAPI\1033\scanpst.exe

Run this and see if it helps you.

Or, have a look at this site http://www.slipstick.com/index.htm
