32 mb program/storage memory fills up doggone quick. I have no use for pre-loaded programs like AOL, Pocket Excel and MS Money. I would love to delete them to create more room for programs I really would use or extra storage memory, but they won't go away. It seems that if you install a program on a storage card, it will not work (guess that's why they call it a storage card), but it would really be nice to make a hole in the 32mb for stuff I want.
Anybody got any advice?

The software you are trying to delete won't since these are rom based.

Now for running the software from the Storage card is no problem at all. Take following steps & you should be all set.

First of all get the largest capacity CF card you can justify.

When installing any software you will have option of installing to the CF card if you do not accept the default location. If you use Cf modem all your communication programmes need to be in the main memory.

You are a very definit candidate for StarTap which will not only allow you to create shortcuts to software installed on the CF but if the specific card is present & deactivated it will also activate the card & run your software.

If you have a loy of mail with attachments select the option of saving the attachments on the CF card - this setting is in your inbox options storage - thus also should save you a lot of memory. You however can't use CF modem to connect to the net.

Hope this helps.
