Hi

I am wondering if there is any differences between th 5MX and the MC218. My 3 year old series 5 just broke down because the 5`s arch nemesis(failior of the screencable) decide to stricke a poor man like me.

So now I am wondering; will the MC218 which I can buy for aprox. 85,- £ will be harder to convert to than the series 5 mx?

Also I wonder now that all psions are out of stock even at Psion.com. Will Psion make another batch(I certainly hope so)?

Does anyone know how many psions have been sold before they decided to stop making new models?

And anyone know how many psions have been sold after they decided to stop making new models?

Desperatly in need of advice...

I am wondering if there is any differences between th 5MX and the MC218 The two are very similar but the MC218 has some additional built-in applications. All programs for a 5mx will run on the MC218.

I guess I'll go and buy the MC218 then...

I made the transition from S5 to MC218 with no problem at all. Very happy with it. At that price I would go for it!

We have it from a source at Psion that the factory making the 5mx will close at the end of this year. I'm not sure what machines are actually still in production at present though.
