Problems with IR printing

I've got a bit of an 5mx problem. My 5mx won't print (or communicate) via Infra Red unless my 32mb Kingston CF card is removed (or the CF door if left open). The same CF card works fine in my old Series 5.

I've tried printing to HP Laserjets 6P and 2100TN (both have IR as standard) via the Laserjet 4 driver on the 5mx.

Anyone else had a problem like this, and have they managed to fix it?

Does the CF card by any chance have any files for the Series 5's "Message Suite 1.52" on it? This would almost certainly mess up IR communications in a 5mx as it included an IR patch for the S5.

Hi Mike

In the system\lib directory on the CF card I found IrComm.csy and IrDA.prt - I deleted them and it now looks likes IR printing is working fine - thanks!
