IR and Sound Problem

I bought a M515 about a month ago and have been having some problems with the IR and sound with some applications. The sound works sometimes but on others it does not. Also my notebook does not see my palm when the IR's are aligned, IR is turned on for both.

I don't know if the problem is coming from one of the apps I have installed or if it is a hardware problem. I can test with my mobile and they see each other ok.

Any ideas?

It sounds to me like you're running an overclocking app. In which case, turn it off, soft reset, try again. If you arn't, you may need 3rd party software for your pda or notebook.

Thanks for the info, it worked. Do you know of any overclock apps that would not give me this problem.

Well, that's a tough question. Some overclocking works on some and some works on others. I have a IIIc and I used to use afterburner, however, when I put palm os 4.1 on it, afterburner put strange streaks in the screen all the time.
I don't really know what will work for you, but try:
afterburner (best in my opinion, very flexible),
fast cpu (pretty good),
cruise control (no flexability, but very stable),
quickbits (large program, but pretty good)
tornado (not much experience).
