Am shopping for my first PDA. Cost is almost not an issue. I have gravitated toward the Tungsten T2, C and about-to-appear T3. I am not very knowledgeable about bluetooth vs. wireless, but I think that, since I have a wireless network at the school in which I teach and have a wireless router in my home, I should take the TC a bit more seriously.

I figure (and correct me if I'm wrong) I could adapt my Linksys router and desktop PC to bluetooth for not too much expense. But I am questioning the trouble. I really do like the features of the newest T3, though I'm not sure I could take advantage of web browsing, email, etc. without a bluetooth phone and special ISP account. More money... ?

I've tried to understand the web articles about bluetooth, but it seems that the short distance of 10 meters, and the advantages of linking headsets, laptops, PDAs, and other electronic devices... would be outweighed by the immediate benefit of using a PDA to be connected to the net at work and at home (without special adapters and extra expense).

Your thoughts are much appreciated!
