Sync Problem

I recvd a Zire from work. Installed Palm Desktop on my laptop and began to go to town. However, after I installed some applications - it's bee acting weird. I can delete apps/files off the Zire yet every time I sync it reinstalls them. Also, every time I sync I have to reset the Zire and go through a complete setup again. I uninstalled and reinstalled the Palm Desktop software, but to no avail.

If you delete apps. from your zire, make sure the system conduit is set to "handheld overwrites desktop"
(click on the hotsync menu button on the top of the palm desktop window, and click custom).

If that doesn't work, you'll need to hard reset your zire and delete your backup folder.
(e.g. c:\program files\palm\your user name\backup)
