My e310 just quit on me after 4 weeks of life. Loved it up until this. Worse - when I called Toshiba to see if they could revive it (they couldn't) and then agreed to get it replaced I found out its "on average" a 10 day period from when I send it in to them until I get a working item back.
10 Days is a lifetime. Palm offers next day delivery of the new one, even if the damaged one hasn't been sent yet, for $25. Ditto IPAQ but for $50. Toshiba doesn't seem to offer this.
Anyone know:
a) if this 10 day period is for real or is it actually longer?? shorter??
b) does Toshiba offer any rapid replacement option similar to Palm and HP/IPAQ that my service rep didn't know about?
thanks.....
