Expense does not appear on Palm

I am using an M505, I have had the problems with Hotsync due to the cradle! however they seem not to have solved themself following lots of resets.
Now I am wanting to use the Palm desktop and use the expense software. However although it is in my Palm desktop on my laptop, it does not show on the Palm itself. I have de-installed and re-installed. I have taken of pocket mirror (I used to use outlook for address etc).
Also I cannot hotsync by IR.

1). If your Palm is one of the multilanguage units or an Asain unit it will not contain the Expense app. I can email it to you if you desire it.
2). Put Pocket Mirror to Outlook back that was not the problem.
3). If you are running a CPU Speedup app that can interfer. If you are not using an overclocking utility then do a soft reset.

I don't know if the unit is multi language, I bought it in the UK, but live in Switzerland. I only use it in English (UK english). I have friends with other models who bought in the UK and have expense showing. If you think that I am missing the app because of a multilanguage Palm please send it to me.

I have now moved the pocket mirror back to outlook.

I don't run a CPU speedup app.

I have tried soft and hard resets.

I understand, that the many languages in the EFIGS model take up a lot a room in the ROM; but I have never understood, why the program is not put on the CD-Rom instead for the owner to download to the Palm if wanted.

Dr. Mud,
When I first installed Desktop, I was then prompted to decide which MS Outlook programs I wanted syncronized. Outlook Datebook, Memo, Expense and Task. I have Office '97 and don't have any problem getting "Expense" syncronized with Excel.
If I did, I would reinstall desktop and make sure hot sync is set to syncronize by default.

Since the demand for Expense seems to be quite universal among all the unhappy EFIGS-users, maybe somebody should put it in the software library here on PalmBoulv.??
