Internet Connectivity

I set up my Axim to connect to the internet both with a Targus compact flash card modem and wirelessly using a cable to connect it to my cell 'phone. Both worked perfectly. Then I let the battery discharge (the backup was dead too) and lost all my settings. Try as I might, I haven't been able to get the settings right again to connect to the internet with either landline or cell 'phone. I know I had some problems setting these things up the first time, but I'm really puzzled now. Can anyone offer some ideas as to how to go about this? just following the instructions in the "Connections" area doesn't seem to do it.

Is this PPC 2002 or PPC 2003?

One thing is that when you set up the network that you must make a choice between connecting to "Work" or "The Internet". You must connect to "Work" in order to ActriveSync over the network, but you must them tell the network settings that "Work" connects to the internet as well. On PPC 2002, anyway, a new network card defaults to "Work".

I'm not 100% sure about PPC 2003 though.
