Svchost.exe?

when i synce using the cradle on my IPAQ when i first switch on my PC, it seems to work fine - however when i disconnect, and then reconnect it does not sync the MS OUTLOOK parts (eg diary etc).

someone has told me it may that it may be the SVCHOST.EXE file ? any ideas anyone?
