Hi there, I have just purchased a Sony Clie NR70VG - and my first impressions were, "What chunky Icon's!" - Is there a res setting in Palm OS, im very new to the PDA world. I just sold my Compaq ipaQ 3860, which was very cool, love Pocket PC O/S if i can say that here, loved the res on that PDA.
Is there somthing I can download if there aint any resolution setting in Palm O/S? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Click the drop down menu, select Options>Preferences... then click "View By:" Icon(Small)
That will put your icons in high resolution mode...
Then, if you want your other programs to be hi res, go to Prefs>HiRes and select "Enable High Resoution"...
Enjoy!

if you want something to rival your PPC, then you should download YiShow. You can have 16-bit background images and there are tons of skins for it as well. It also allows you to navigate the memory stick 'explorer' style. It's very cool

In the Prefs, HiRes, check Enable High Resolution Assist.
Otherwise read the manual, its all there.
