Clie?

Is the new clie the best PDA or does the Toshiba still have the upper hand?

Guess it just depends on what your needs are.
Toshiba has always made good products, but for whatever reason they choose to stay away from the Palm OS market. Sony on the other hand keeps banging out new units regularly. They are putting more dough into the OS pot with no reservations. They will rule if they don't already. Palm and HandSpring had better come up with better ideas, and better quality products before their share of the market is nil. :) I give HandEra credit for being a U.S company with a solid product at a fair price. Just bit weak in the marketing end of things. Yet a company with vision.

I believe that toshiba tried for a palm os license, but was denied by palm. To bad huh? More the merrier... the cheaper... the better

I currently have the Clie T615C(which is now out of date) and I'm very happy w/ it's preformance. The sound is excellent along w/ the Hi-res screen. I would recommend spending the few extra dollars on a Sony. I haven't had any problems w/ mine and all the extras that Sony kicks in(gMovie, PG Pocket, Documents2Go, ect.) same in the long run.
