I can't connect to the internet yet, but the phone works

Speaker is on the back, so the speakerphone doesn't work well when the phone is on a table or especially something soft.

It's bigger than I thought, I'm replacing my treo300 so I thought it would be smaller, it's just a bit narrower really it's the same if not bigger in depth and height. It's pretty heavy too :(

Rocker button is hard to use it's hard to click the button in the middle without clicking one of the directions.

Upgrade was easy and welll guided, I loaded all my old settings.

I think pdaNet2.0 may be having trouble though, which is a huge bummer. I'll know for sure when I get the internet connection working. Screen is nice and bright and the system is much faster than the treo 300.

SD card works fine.

Oh and since I'm here, If you are a training provider, trainer or educator: Check out my website http://training-classes.com! it's really cool and written in PHP. Nothing about treo's there though!

I ordered mine last week -- should be here soon!!!

I'm looking forward to trying this baby out!

Anyone else get one yet?

I'm very interested in seeing how it compares to my 300.:)

I got my Treo 600 a couple of days ago - I am quite pleased with it. The shape, size, and feel of it is great - it feels a bit more like a phone, and the layout is good for one-handed use most of the time. I was able to connect to the internet right after Sprint activated my phone.
The rocker button seems easily usable to me, but maybe this is an issue of hand size ( I have small hands). A couple of my software programs had to be updated (Avantgo, TriLoan) and I had to delete then reload Pocket Quicken.

It is easy to get spoiled with the rocker button - it seems a pain to have to drag out the stylus now. I am surprised that I can't seem to use the rocker button with the Calendar program when I'm in week view. It works OK in the daily view, but in week view, I can only scroll through the weeks, I can't select enter for a day, and the start a new entry.

I've read some comments complaining about the screen, but it seems quite bright and easily readable to me.
The vibrate mode seems a bit weak, so it's hard to always detect the vibe if you've got the phone in silent mode.

Overall, I am quite happy with the unit. The sound for my mp3's is great, the speed is much improved with the new ARM processor, and the battery life goes on and on and on ...:)

Okay, two sad-faces for my new Treo 600:

1. Bible Reader (http://www.olivetree.com/) (Olive Tree software) won't work on it. When I click on "Go to BibleReader," the device soft-resets. With the beta-version for OS 5, it doesn't work either.

2. Can't use Backdrop GC (http://www.twilightedge.com/backdropgc.html) (Twilight Edge Sofware), as it ain't supported by Palm OS 5 and higher.

....oh, and my Documents to Go don't seem to work on the new device either...
