Questions about the SJ-30:
1. Does anyone know of a case I can get with this unit? Would prefer metal case but leather is OK too.
2. Where can I get screen protectors specifically for this unit?
3. Is there a larger (thicker) stylus that will fit in the unit?
4. I would also love a cradle for this unit...which one will work?
Thanks in advance...:)

I have not been able to find any metal cases so far, it must just be too early for them. However, you can get a cradle for it, but the boxes are not marked for the "SJ" models yet. When you go to the store, look for the "PEG-T" models, and they will fit and work correctly.

I've been looking at the SJ30 as a possible replacement for my Prism. Anything about it that should tell me I should get one? And is it a wiser buy than the T665C?
I'm after:
1) Good color display and fidelity
2) Unit can be used with a full-sized, foldable keyboard (e.g., Stowaway)
3) Battery replacement not a great hassle
Thanks in advance for any comments.

I have been absolutely thrilled with my SJ30...I also looked at the T, but it is definately "last year's model" in terms of style. The addition of the MP3 player control is nice, but I really like the compactness of the SJ30 better. The screen is amazing, very bright and love the hires....it relaced my Palm 505, which totally sucked, low rez, dim screen, crappy colors. I do not know how hard a battery sway would be, but someone posted instructions in this forum not too long back.

Thanks for the feedback.
I understand that the SJ has a much better scroll button, which was a major issue raised against previous Clie models. Is this an accurate assessment?
And how is the speaker? This has been a major gripe against the Prism.

I like the jog dial, but the up-down button is my one complaint about the SJ design. It's kind of a rocker switch, and pressing down is fine....however, the top of the button kinda recesses by the frame, so pushing "up" is a challenge with my finger, I usually stick the pen on it to press it. Other than that, it's great!

The speaker is ok, but I wouldn't want to hear it attempt a MP3. =grin=

Thanks, fusion5. Now, if I could just find a full-sized, foldable keyboard to go with SJ30....

They make one, it's actually pretty cool. Sony has their own, it is like a brushed titanium looking dealie, the kind that folds into a unit a little larger than the handheld (like a map). It has "Clie" silkscreened on the side, and is quite attractive. If you have a Best Buy or Circuit City in the area, they usually have them in stock. They are like $89 or so.

Thanks for the keyboard tip. I'm not in the US but I'll check if it's available locally. I understand the Stowaway keyboard for the T series also works with SJ30 but I may be mistaken.
