This maybe a little off topic but I was wondering what phones carry bluethooth so I can connect it to my Ipaq H1945 to go on the net and things like that. Thank you.

I know a few people who use the Nokia 6310i and are very happy with it. If you are a verizon user forget it. Your provider has to be a GSM provider and verizon never will be.

T-Mobile, AT&T or Cingular are the only US companies that offer GSM. If you travel to Europe be sure to buy and unlocked phone so you can buy a sim card and use your phone in Europe.

The cable will not work for Deadmaninc's ipaq. Ipaq H1900 series does not support serial or USB connectivity.

Yeah the Nokia 6310i comes with IR not used it yet as Bluetooth works fine for me with GPRS but I'm sure I saw an IR modem option on the IPAQ

Do you know if Verizon offers that phone?

No they don't. It is a GSM phone. T-Mobile, Cellular One and AT & T are GMS companies but the coverahe is not good. Much more important though if you want to travel to Europe and use it.

Verizon is locked into their system (Non GSM) forever

Dailup is the manner that your PPC will use to access service through your phone. But instead of dialing a standard telephone number, you will dial the code to access your cell provider's data service. They should be able to provide you with the required code or you can use an app like Connect2Internet that maintains a database of GSM/GPRS providers along with their access codes and logon data. C2I will poll your phone to get your provider info and create the settings that are needed to access their data service through the DUN link between your phone and PPC.
