I want to know what is dfference with the aim 2.0 I have for my pocket pc with this new aim 2.0 that cost $20. I dont get why we have to pay for it now? It was free now why does it cost the aim for windows and mac dont cost why does this one?

They just seem to be charging for it in the USA and Canada? WTF is with that? Anyway, AIM 2.0 for PocketPC is available there same as in the US. Saved you 20 bucks ;-)

No you dont need a modem, you can use your hotsync cradel or you can also use a wireless card.

Okay, so there is no way to use aim at school, or the movies, or whatever, without a modem or a wireless card? And has anyone heard of an 802.11.B card that works on the Toshiba PocketPC E310? Thanks for the help everyone!:)

Just curious:

I tried this download awhile back and was surprised to see that the News Headlines pointed to European context links instead of U.S.

While I am interested in what happens across the ocean, I found this annoying and reverted back to my original 2.0 version which I fortunately saved from many years ago.

Anyone else notice this?
